Clause 2, Article 41 of the consolidated document of the Law on Military Service stipulates exemption from military service for the following citizens:

a) Children of martyrs, children of first-class wounded soldiers;

b) An older brother or younger brother of a martyr;

c) One child of a second-class wounded soldier; one child of a sick soldier with a working capacity reduction of 81% or more; one child of an Agent Orange infected person with a working capacity reduction of 81% or more;

d) People working in cryptography who are not soldiers or People's Police;

e) Cadres, civil servants, public employees, and youth volunteers who are transferred to work and work in areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions according to the provisions of law for 24 months or more.

Thus, if the worker is an older brother or younger brother of a martyr, they are exempt from military service.
