Conditions for dissolving public service units according to Decree 120/2020/ND-CP

According to Clause 3, Article 5 of Decree 120/2020/ND-CP, the conditions for dissolving public service units are as follows:

(1) No longer have the function or task of providing public service, serving state management;

(2) Not meeting the criteria for establishing a public service unit as prescribed by law;

(3) Three consecutive years of ineffective operation as assessed by competent authorities;

(4) Implement according to the national sectoral planning or the network planning of public service units (if any) approved by competent authorities;

(5) Public service units abroad: In addition to meeting one of the above conditions, it is necessary to ensure compliance with the foreign policies of the Party and State and the agreement between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Government of the host country on the dissolution of the public service unit.
