Details of the number of working weeks of preschool teachers in a year

Article 3 of Circular 48/2011/TT-BGDDT stipulates working time and annual leave for preschool teachers as follows:

Working time, annual leave of teachers

1. The working time of a preschool teacher in a year is 42 weeks, of which:

a) 35 weeks of working in child care, care and education (hereinafter referred to as child-rearing);

b) 4 weeks for studying and improving professional skills;

c) 2 weeks for preparing for the new school year;

d) 1 week for the summary of the school year.

2. Annual leave for preschool teachers includes: summer vacation and other holidays, specifically as follows:

a) Teachers' summer vacation is 8 weeks, receiving full salary and allowances and subsidies (if any);

b) Other holidays are implemented according to the provisions of the Labor Code and current regulations.

Based on the school year plan, scale, characteristics, and specific conditions of each school, the Principal will arrange annual leave for teachers appropriately in accordance with regulations.

Accordingly, the working time of preschool teachers in a year is 42 weeks, of which:

- 35 weeks of working in child care, care and education.

- 4 weeks spent studying and improving expertise and skills.

- 2 weeks to prepare for the new school year.

- 1 week for summarizing the school year.
