Subjects will receive 70% tuition reduction from the 2025 - 2026 school year

The Lao Dong Newspaper Legal Consulting Office replied:

Clause 1, Article 16 of Decree 238/2025/ND-CP (effective from September 3, 2025) on tuition fees, tuition exemptions, tuition support, learning costs and service prices in education and training stipulates subjects eligible for 70% tuition reduction, including:

a) Students studying traditional and specific arts in public and private vocational training institutions and higher education institutions with cultural and artistic training include: folk song drama, Hue traditional musician, Southern talent song, singing theater actors, folk performing arts, Ca Tru art, cai Cho art, traditional musical instrument performance.

b) Students studying royal music, Cheo, Tuong, Cai Luong, dance, circus; some arduous, toxic, and dangerous occupations for vocational education according to the list of arduous, toxic, and dangerous occupations prescribed by the state management agency of vocational education at the central level.

c) Students in vocational training institutions and higher education institutions who are ethnic minorities (other than ethnic minorities) and whose father or mother have permanent residence in a particularly difficult village/hamlet, commune in region III of ethnic minority and mountainous areas, a particularly difficult commune in coastal areas, coastal areas and islands as prescribed by competent authorities.

Thus, those who are eligible for a 70% tuition reduction are implemented according to the above regulations.
