Local positions are allowed to use a maximum working area of 45 m2 from July 1, 2025, determined according to Decree No. 155/2025/ND-CP.
According to Appendix II on standards and norms for the use of working areas for local positions (issued with Decree No. 155/2025/ND-CP, effective from July 1, 2025), local positions with a maximum working area of 45 m2/person include:
Members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Party Committees of provinces and centrally run cities (except for Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City);
- Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of provinces and centrally run cities; Vice Chairman of the People's Council, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of provinces and centrally run cities; Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of provinces and centrally run cities;
- equivalent titles and positions.
