Many enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai are in need of recruiting a large number of workers. Some enterprises need 700 workers, some enterprises are looking for up to 2,000 workers to meet production needs.
Enterprises need large recruitment
Recorded in the North of Ho Chi Minh City, many industrial production enterprises are currently in need of recruiting a large number of workers to serve production orders during Tet and the plan for early 2026. Notably, Gang Viet Joint Stock Company (Cau Sat Hamlet, Ben Cat Ward, HCMC) is in need of a lot of workers to meet the need to expand production.
The company has 2 factories, of which 1 newly built factory will operate from the beginning of 2026 with 10 production lines. This factory wants to recruit more than 600 workers, but only has 166 workers. The total recruitment demand of the two factories is more than 700 workers. This enterprise mainly recruits unskilled workers and recruits some trained workers for the positions: Maintenance, Production Operation, QA - QC, Human Resources Administration...
It is noted that in My Phuoc 1, My Phuoc 2, My Phuoc 3, Bau Bang Industrial Park and Bau Bang Industrial Park expansion, there are also many businesses in need of recruitment. On average, each enterprise needs to recruit 50-200 workers.
Meanwhile, in Dong Nai, many enterprises in industrial parks such as: New Apparel Far Eastern Vietnam Co., Ltd. (D1 Street, Bac Dong Phu Industrial Park, Dong Phu Commune, Dong Nai Province) are announcing the recruitment of a large number of workers.
The company's Trade Union said that the enterprise needs up to 2,000 workers working in the garment sector. The positions to be recruited include: sample tailors, bulldozers, folding workers, cutting inspection workers... At Becamex Industrial Park, Chon Thanh Ward (Dong Nai Province), CPV Food Company Limited is also in need of 2,000 workers to process chicken for export...
Increasing welfare to attract workers
According to records, labor recruitment in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces is currently facing many difficulties. The scarce supply has caused businesses to not recruit enough workers for production. According to the assessment, the reason is that there is little labor from the Northern, Central, Central Highlands and Western provinces to Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai. In addition, it is the end of the year, and workers rarely take time off work to find new jobs.
To attract workers, businesses have increased welfare regimes to create highlights. A representative of Gang Viet Joint Stock Company (HCMC) informed that employees working at the company have a stable income of 8-20 million VND/month, and are fully covered by health insurance, social insurance, and unemployment insurance according to regulations. When signing an official labor contract, employees are allowed to join the grassroots trade union organization and enjoy many union welfare activities.
The company also focuses on building additional welfare policies such as: Productivity bonus, milk allowance, special allowance for women, childcare allowance, industry allowance, free night shift meals, transportation from the center of Ho Chi Minh City, providing free accommodation for workers from far away... with the goal of improving the working environment, improving the lives of workers...
According to New Apparel Far Eastern Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Dong Nai), the company recruits unskilled workers. When workers start working, the company will receive training and pay them. The company has a full salary and bonus regime and social insurance contributions. The company supports the cost of making documents and health check-ups with 120,000 VND, supports the performance of the first 3 months with 1.2 million VND/month and supports pick-up and drop-off for workers from afar. After 4 months of work, they will be rewarded with 1.5 million VND/person.
CPV Food Company Limited also proposed a policy to support medical examination and treatment costs of up to 20 million VND/year to attract workers. The company also supports transportation vehicles, travel expenses and has free KTX for workers.
