On March 10, Ms. Nguyen Van Hanh Thuc - Director of Ho Chi Minh City Employment Service Center - said that in February 2026, the demand for recruiting workers through this center is 31,187 people. Meanwhile, the demand for job search is 20,124 people. Thus, the demand for recruiting workers in February 2026 is more than 1.5 times higher than the demand for job search.
In which, the recruitment of unskilled labor and simple jobs has the highest demand with 9,591 people, accounting for 30.75% of the total demand. Next is the demand for recruiting sales - sales staff with 4,882 people, accounting for 15.65%, and machine - production operation staff with training and skills are 4,877 people, accounting for 15.64%.
In the opposite direction, the demand for job search, unskilled labor and simple jobs is also the highest with 5,784 people, accounting for 28.74% of the total demand; followed by trained and skilled machine-production operators with 2,481 people, accounting for 12.33% and maintenance, electricity, electronics, and factory technical staff with 1,347 people, accounting for 6.69%.
