Khanh Hoa Job Fair attracts more than 800 workers looking for jobs

At the festival, 35 businesses participated in recruiting more than 6,400 domestic workers and working abroad under contract.

According to the organizers, domestic job recruitment demand accounts for more than 4,400 positions, concentrated in the fields of tourism, services, industrial production, construction and manufacturing.

Businesses recruit a variety of positions, from engineers, technical staff to unskilled workers such as garment, yarn, dyeing, processing, packaging workers, chefs...

The salary ranges from 5 to over 30 million VND/month, accompanied by insurance and welfare benefits such as meal support, shuttle bus, and housing.

For the foreign labor market, the recruitment demand is more than 2,000 workers working in countries and territories such as Korea, Japan, Taiwan (China), Russia, Romania, Algeria...

Recruitment occupations include food processing, construction, mechanics, electronics, cleaning, industrial packaging, interior decoration. Income from 20 to 40 million VND/month.

Workers are guaranteed rights under the contract, are trained in vocational skills and foreign languages before leaving the country. Participation costs range from 70 to 120 million VND/person for a 3-year contract, which can be extended for another 2 years; they are supported with preferential loans or interest-free loans.

As a result, the festival advised more than 800 workers, 388 applicants, 46 direct runners-up and 149 workers invited for second round interviews at businesses.

According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son - Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Khanh Hoa province, currently, Khanh Hoa is expanding its development space, orienting growth based on 4 pillars: industry, energy, tourism - services and urban - construction.

In particular, Van Phong Economic Zone is identified as an important growth engine, towards the goal of multi-sectoral development, becoming the economic and urban center of the north of the province, contributing to making Khanh Hoa soon become a centrally-run city.

In that context, the demand for human resources, especially young skilled and skilled workers, is increasing. However, the labor market still faces difficulties such as supply-demand imbalance, local labor shortages and increasing demands from businesses.

With the proactiveness of the Employment Service Center and the coordination of relevant units, creating an effective bridge between workers and businesses, helping workers access market information and choose suitable jobs.

At the same time, support businesses in recruiting human resources to meet production and business needs. Mr. Son also requested businesses to be transparent in recruitment information, build a stable working environment, and appropriate remuneration regimes to attract and retain workers.

For workers, it is necessary to proactively learn about the market, determine their own abilities, actively participate in interviews and constantly improve professional qualifications and skills to meet increasingly high requirements.
