More than 8,300 jobs waiting for workers in Quang Ngai
More than 8,300 job positions are waiting for workers in Quang Ngai, with salaries from 9 to 30 million VND/month.
The Quang Ngai Provincial Employment Service Center said that the whole province currently has 29 enterprises and units registered to recruit more than 8,300 workers in many different industries and qualifications. Of which, unskilled labor accounts for more than 3,400 targets; university and college degrees over 1,000 targets; intermediate level, technical workers over 1,700 targets. The high recruitment demand reflects the increasingly open investment environment in Quang Ngai, attracting many businesses to expand production and business.
In Dung Quat Economic Zone, Petroleum Mechanical Construction and Industry Co., Ltd. (under the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group) is in need of recruiting more than 800 workers in the fields of welding, mechanics, assembly, painting, and scaffolding. Not only recruiting a large number, businesses also support free vocational training for unskilled workers, with the lowest salary from 13.5 million VND/month and many attractive benefits.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Yen - Human Resources Department of Petroleum Mechanical Construction and Industry Company Limited - said that for workers in remote localities, the company arranges collective housing for workers, and supports weekly shuttle buses, helping workers feel secure in their long-term work.
In the foreign-invested enterprise sector, Foster Quang Ngai Electronics Company Limited (100% of Japanese investment capital) is also recruiting about 200 workers to serve the plan to expand the production of car loudspeakers. This is considered a stable job opportunity for many young workers, especially those who have just graduated from high school.
Ms. Pham Thi Trinh - Human Resources specialist of Foster Quang Ngai Electronics Co., Ltd. - said that the company is switching from manufacturing headphones to car speakers, so the demand for labor recruitment is increasing. The total average income of workers, including overtime, is about 9 - 11 million VND/month.
Not only focusing on connecting jobs in the province, the Quang Ngai Employment Service Center also promotes consulting, vocational training and expands channels to send workers to work abroad with high incomes.
Mr. Vo Duy Yen - Acting Director of the Quang Ngai Provincial Employment Service Center - said that the center regularly organizes direct consultation and equips workers with vocational skills before participating in interviews. For unskilled workers, the center focuses on businesses with training policies, helping workers work, learn a trade and still receive salary in the first 2 months. Thanks to that, workers will soon stabilize their jobs, while businesses will have appropriate human resources.
"Connecting jobs must be implemented synchronously, from the stage of career orientation in accordance with the capacity of workers to meeting the recruitment needs of each enterprise" - Mr. Yen emphasized.
According to Mr. Yen, in addition to the domestic labor market, the center also orients workers to access high-income markets such as Japan, Korea and Romania. In particular, the Romania market does not require skills or foreign languages, an income of 25 - 30 million VND/month, low costs, and businesses take care of all accommodation and travel, suitable for experienced male workers.
