The "Explore Finland" project brings opportunities for Vietnamese technology experts

On September 16, Work in Finland, a unit under Business Finland, and an official organization of the Finnish Government specializing in attracting global talent, announced the project "Explore Finland" in Vietnam.

This is a co-sponsored initiative by the European Union (EU), born in the context that Vietnam is one of the countries with the largest number of experts moving to Finland to work.

Through flexible online modules and in-depth training sessions with industry experts, "Exploring Finland" equips intermediate and advanced experts with the necessary knowledge of culture, profession and practice to develop in the Finnish labor market.

The program provides detailed information on job opportunities, working environment, benefits, career paths and settlement support policies. In particular, the program also provides specialized guidance for experts in the fields of technology, engineering, medical technology and energy.

Unique bridge for Vietnamese technology experts

Unlike traditional labor migration projects, "Explore Finland" offers a comprehensive preparation roadmap before moving to Finland. The program allows experts to build a network of relationships, learn about working culture in Finland and accumulate in-depth knowledge about the industry while still in Vietnam.

Vietnam is one of the key partners of Work in Finland. In recent years, the number of Vietnamese experts coming to Finland has increased significantly. The number of initial residence permits for work purposes has increased from 223 (in 2015) to 581 (in 2024).

The "Explore Finland" project is expected to promote this trend, helping experts prepare better for a smooth relocation process and a sustainable career path.

Work in Finland organizes exclusive events for technology experts in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi

Work in Finland will bring this global talent initiative directly to Vietnam's two major economic centers, opening up unique opportunities for experts to connect with career opportunities in Finland. Accordingly, the Work in Finland team will attend the Vietnam Web Summit in Ho Chi Minh City on September 19, as an important part of the mission of approaching Vietnamese technology talents.

Following the conference, Work in Finland will organize exclusive events in both cities, exploring life and work in Finland. These seminars are designed as a valuable resource for intermediate and senior experts in the fields of technology, engineering and other high-demand industries.
