According to the Hanoi Employment Service Center, information technology is still one of the industries that recruit many workers in the capital.

The Hanoi Employment Service Center has just organized a job fair on information technology to attract more than 30 businesses and units to participate; over 1,299 recruitment targets.

In terms of qualifications, the demand for recruitment of workers with university - college degrees accounts for the highest rate with 886 targets (54.8% of total demand); demand for recruitment of intermediate-level workers and technical workers with 515 targets (31.9%); demand for unskilled labor with 213 targets, accounting for 13.3% of total demand.

In terms of age, there are 673 positions for workers aged 26 - 35, accounting for 41.6% of total demand.

According to the Hanoi Employment Service Center, in the past 2 years, information technology has always been one of the industries with a large recruitment demand, distributed evenly throughout the year. In particular, there are sessions where the specific recruitment demand of this industry accounts for 40% of the total demand.

The Hanoi Employment Service Center said that organizing thematic job fairs is an opportunity for groups/subjects of workers to increase job opportunities, increase the ratio of labor supply and demand in an in-depth direction. In particular, specialized information technology trading sessions will create conditions for workers, especially students and young workers in the information technology industry, to access recruitment information suitable for their abilities and qualifications.
