4 industries are expected to lack a large number of human resources
There are 4 industries with great demand for human resources and it is forecasted that there will be a shortage of labor supply in the coming time, according to Anphabe Joint Stock Company.
Information technology
Vietnam currently has more than 100 schools training in information technology (IT), providing an average of about 50,000 engineers per year. However, the labor market is lacking up to 400,000 human resources in this field. In particular, only 35% of graduating engineers can meet the requirements of the enterprise, the rest need to be retrained.
The IT industry ranks 3rd among the 10 highly salaried industries in Vietnam, averaging nearly 20 million VND/month, after Real Estate and Healthcare.
Medicine Department
Although the number of medical training institutions is increasing, the rate of candidates admitted to this industry is still quite low, leading to a shortage of medical human resources, especially in remote areas.
Construction
Vietnam is in the process of accelerating industrialization and modernization, so the demand for infrastructure construction is increasing rapidly. The need to recruit human resources for positions such as architects, construction engineers, and construction supervision engineers is always in short supply, especially for highly qualified human resources.
