According to the Hanoi Employment Service Center, in September 2025, female workers accounted for 60.1% of the total number of unemployment benefits in the capital.
According to the Hanoi Employment Service Center, the data on the implementation of unemployment insurance policies in September 2025 has both positive points, but there are also points to note.
Although the number of people applying for unemployment benefits decreased to 6,136 compared to 6,811 in August, showing signs of slowing down the new unemployment labor flow, the number of people officially eligible for benefits increased slightly to 5,404 people, showing that employment challenges still exist.
Regarding the structure of workers receiving subsidies, female workers continue to make up the majority with about 60.1% of the total number of people approved to pay, although this rate has decreased slightly compared to August.
In terms of age, the golden age group of workers (from 25 to 40 years old) is still the group with the largest proportion, with 3,406 people, showing that this is the group that is most volatile in the market. However, a notable trend is that the number of beneficiaries in both the age groups under 42 and over 40 has increased, respectively 432 people and 1,566 people. This increase shows that job pressure is spreading to young workers who have just entered the market and older workers, who are having more difficulty finding new job opportunities.
