Current position allowance level of Deputy Commander of the Military Command of agencies and organizations

Decree 16/2025/ND-CP of the Government amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 72/2020/ND-CP dated June 30, 2020 of the Government detailing a number of articles of the Law on Militia and Self-Defense Forces on the organization and construction of forces and regimes and policies for Militia and Self-Defense Forces. The Decree takes effect from March 23, 2025.

Article 1 of Decree 6/2025/ND-CP amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 72/2020/ND-CP dated June 30, 2020 of the Government detailing a number of articles of the Law on Militia and Self-Defense Forces on the organization and construction of forces and regimes and policies for Militia and Self-Defense Forces is as follows:

1. Amend Clause 1, Article 7 as follows:

1. The allowance for the position of Militia and Self-Defense Commander is paid monthly, the level of benefits is as follows:

a) Commander and Political Commissar of the Commune-level Military Command; Commander, Political Commissar, Military Command of the agency or organization: 561,600 VND;

b) Deputy Commander, Deputy Political Commissar of the Commune-level Military Command; Deputy Commander, Deputy Political Commissar of the Military Command of agencies and organizations; Battalion Commander, Political Commissar of the Battalion; Squadron Commander, Political Commissar of the Squadron; Squadron Commander, Political Commissar of the Permanent Militia Squadron; Company Commander, Political Commissar of the Mobile Militia Company: 514,800 VND;

Thus, the current Deputy Commander of the Military Command of agencies and organizations is entitled to a command allowance of VND 514,800/month.

Before March 23, 2025, the current Deputy Commander of the Military Command of agencies and organizations will receive a command allowance of VND 327,800/month.
