Lam Dong develops more than 291,600 social insurance participants
Lam Dong - In 2025, the whole province will develop 291,601 social insurance participants, accounting for 17.5% of the labor force.
On December 27, information from Lam Dong Provincial Social Insurance (VSS) said that the unit had just held a conference to summarize the work in 2025 and successfully deploy tasks in 2026.
The conference assessed the situation and results of implementing targets and tasks of social insurance and health insurance (HI) in 2025 and deployed tasks for 2026.
Mr. Dang Hong Tuan - Director of Lam Dong Social Insurance - said that, implementing the policy of arranging administrative units, the Social Insurance of the three provinces of Binh Thuan, Dak Nong and Lam Dong (old) were merged into Social Insurance of Region XXV; then renamed Lam Dong Social Insurance from July 2025.
With a new organizational model, large management area, and large number of participants, the unit has synchronously deployed solutions to develop social insurance participants; at the same time, promoting administrative procedure reform and digital transformation.
"The consistent goal of Lam Dong Social Insurance is to take people and businesses as the center of service, ensuring sustainable and long-term social security", Mr. Tuan emphasized.
Thanks to that, many important targets in 2025 have been completed. The health insurance coverage rate reached 95% of the population, continuing to play a pivotal role in ensuring social security of the province.
The unit has developed 291,601 social insurance participants, accounting for 17.5% of the workforce; of which voluntary social insurance increased by nearly 15% compared to 2024. The work of resolving regimes and policies has been implemented promptly and in accordance with regulations; the rights of people to health insurance examination and treatment continue to be guaranteed.
From the achieved results, Lam Dong Social Insurance has set out directions and tasks for 2026, assigning specific targets to affiliated departments and units, focusing on developing participants, collecting and reducing late payment of social insurance and health insurance.
The conference also discussed and removed difficulties at the grassroots level, especially in developing participants and controlling the cost of health insurance examination and treatment, in order to successfully complete the targets and tasks for 2026.
To date, the health insurance coverage rate in Lam Dong has reached 95% of the population, continuing to play a pivotal role in ensuring social security in the province.
Develop 291,601 social insurance participants, accounting for 17.5% of the workforce, of which voluntary social insurance increases by nearly 15% compared to 2024.
Social insurance and health insurance revenue is over VND 9,634 billion, complete and exceeding the assigned plan. Resolving policies and regimes for over 142,000 people, with a total expenditure of about VND6,695 billion, ensuring timeliness and compliance with regulations.
Health insurance examination and treatment for over 5.4 million cases, spending about 2,534 billion VND; resolutely refusing to pay 17.6 billion VND for expenses that are not in accordance with regulations.
Authentication of participants' information reached 99.54%, contributing to improving management and service efficiency for the people.
