Hundreds of workers at a company in Ninh Binh stop working collectively

At around 2:30 p.m. on November 21, nearly 300 workers at Global Tone Company Limited (in Khanh Thuong Industrial Cluster, Trung Son Ward, Ninh Binh Province) simultaneously stopped working collectively and gathered in the Company's premises.

According to the reflection of these workers, they stopped working collectively because the Company had a policy of giving about 300/1,200 workers of the Company temporary leave for 3 months because the Company did not have an order.

Workers here are required to have a temporary leave period of no more than 3 months, during the leave waiting for workers to receive 100% of the regional minimum basic salary and to pay social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance if the contract is not terminated. Receive a Tet bonus and a 13th month salary.

Immediately after the incident, representatives of the Trung Son Ward Trade Union were present at the Company to coordinate with the Trade Union and the Company's Board of Directors, along with representatives of the workers here to resolve the incident.

According to the representative of the Trung Son Ward Trade Union, the Company has initially recorded the opinions and proposals of the workers and will meet to make a final decision.

At around 4:30 p.m., the workers here had left. The collective work stoppage of workers does not affect the security and order situation.

Global Tone Company Limited has been in operation since 2021, the Company specializes in the production of shower gel products. Currently, the Company has 1,200 workers and laborers.
