On May 21, the Trade Union of Industrial Parks of Binh Thuan province coordinated with the Provincial Social Insurance to organize propaganda, answers, and consultation on social insurance (SI) and health insurance (HI) policies in 2025 at Trans Pacific Seafood Processing Company Limited in Phan Thiet Industrial Park. This is a practical activity during Workers' Month 2025 to help workers better understand social insurance and work with peace of mind.

At the program, nearly 100 workers were informed about related contents of the Social Insurance Law 2024 and new points related to health insurance, social insurance, and unemployment insurance participants effective from July 1, 2025, as well as the benefits of participating in social insurance and risks when not participating in social insurance.

Mr. Tran Duy Thanh - Chairman of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks of Binh Thuan province - emphasized that the social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance regimes are issues that workers working in industrial parks are concerned about. Therefore, this is an opportunity for workers to directly discuss and have their problems answered by the Social Insurance to ensure their rights and for the union to listen to their thoughts and aspirations.

Workers and employees have raised many questions about how to calculate the amount of unemployment insurance and social insurance by the number of years and the salary for insurance contributions in cases where the company does not pay the social insurance book, situations regarding the number of years of pension, death benefit, unemployment benefit, maternity benefits for social insurance participants...

With the questions raised by workers, representatives of the professional departments under the provincial Social Insurance answered and clarified to help workers better understand and feel more secure to work and produce.
