Maintaining harmonious labor relations at the largest grassroots trade union in Lam Dong

The grassroots union of Right Rich International Company Limited (in Ham Kiem 2 Industrial Park) is currently the unit with the largest number of union members in Lam Dong province, with 3,262 union members. The enterprise specializes in exporting shoe production with nearly 3,500 employees, mostly rural workers from mountainous communes.

Guided by the Ham Kiem Commune Trade Union, the grassroots trade union has coordinated with the enterprise to fully implement policies, regimes, and insurance for employees. Stable jobs and an improved production environment have helped workers feel secure in their attachment.

The Right Rich grassroots union has implemented a series of practical care activities such as increasing industrial fans at workshops, adding labor protection equipment, equipping suction rooms and restrooms for pregnant female workers. In particular, the union has proposed that businesses increase shift meals to 20,000 VND/meal to ensure the health of workers.

Many joint programs are also maintained such as "Union Meals", giving gifts and organizing monthly birthdays for union members, organizing tours for good production workers, all workers receive annual health check-ups.

Ms. Doan Thi My Thach - Chairwoman of the grassroots Trade Union - said that at workshops, the trade union maintains many feedback channels for workers to give comments such as meeting directly with union officials, contacting the public phone number of the responsible officials or sending comments via comments boxes that are checked weekly.

Thanks to this two-way interaction, the grassroots trade union has maintained a stable working environment, minimizing disputes and work stoppages for many years.

Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation, highly appreciated the efforts of grassroots trade unions. He suggested that grassroots trade unions increase representation to protect union members' rights, focus on occupational hygiene and safety and organize more movement activities according to production characteristics and continue to build harmonious and stable labor relations.

Recently, the Trade Union of Right Rich International Company Limited held its 3rd Congress, term 2025 - 2030, approving many new goals and tasks and electing the Executive Committee. Ms. Doan Thi My Thach continues to be trusted to hold the position of Chairwoman of the grassroots trade union.
