Panko Vina Company responds to workers' wishes when terminating operations
HCMC - The HCMC Labor Federation and relevant agencies had an official working session with Panko Vina Company Limited.
On the afternoon of December 29, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation and relevant agencies had a working session with Panko Vina Company Limited (My Phuoc 1 Industrial Park, Ben Cat Ward, Ho Chi Minh City). At the meeting, on the side of Panko Vina Company Limited, there was Mr. Jung Seung Jun - CEO of the company.
After discussing the wishes, the parties reached an agreement and issued a working minutes to carry out the next steps.
Notably, the representative of Panko Vina Company Limited gave feedback on the wishes of the workers.
Accordingly, Panko Vina Company Limited is committed to fulfilling its obligations related to employees. Regarding 13th month salary for employees, the company has submitted a plan to the parent company in Korea and is waiting for the decision of the company's Chairman. The company will have a decision on December 30 and notify employees. In case the parent company decides to pay the bonus, the payment period will be to the employee in January 2026.

Regarding maternity benefits for female employees, the company ensures solutions for employees to be eligible for maternity benefits.
Employees will only work until January 15, 2026, and the salary for January 2026 will be calculated until January 31, 2026. The expected salary payment date is no later than February 5, 2026.
The company will pay the entire annual leave to employees for the number of days not taken off. In case the employee has used the annual leave for the following consecutive years, the company will waist the annual leave for that year.

The severance pay will be paid according to the provisions of law. After January 31, 2026, the company will still arrange office staff to solve problems related to employee's retirement such as: closing social insurance books, decision to quit... so that employees can enjoy the benefits according to regulations.
On December 29 and 30, workers who stopped work were still kept at the company's salary.
Mr. Nguyen Tan Dat - Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation said that Panko Vina Co., Ltd. is very good-looking to work to resolve the wishes of workers.
"The workers sympathized and shared about the production and business situation of the company. Therefore, it is recommended that the company resolve the policies for employees so that they can feel secure and stabilized in continuing to produce final orders" - a representative of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation suggested at the meeting.

The Management Board of Export Processing and Industrial Zones of Ho Chi Minh City also requested the company to urgently stabilize the situation of workers, not allowing complicated issues to affect security and order. At the same time, it is recommended that enterprises fulfill their commitments so that workers can feel secure in production before stopping operations.

Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported that on December 23, Panko Vina Company Limited issued a notice about the termination of the company's production and business activities from February 1, 2026. On December 29, the workers stopped making wishes to the company. Currently, labor relations here have temporarily stabilized.
