Regarding the announcement of the suspension of operations of Panko Vina Co., Ltd. (My Phuoc 1 industrial park, Ben Cat ward, Ho Chi Minh City), it was noted that on the morning of December 24, workers still came to the factory to work.

According to the announcement of Panko Vina Co., Ltd., the production will be carried out until January 31, 2026. The company will end production and business activities from February 1, 2026.

Regarding the company's policies for employees, Panko Vina Company Limited said that it is committed to fully fulfilling its obligations related to employees according to the provisions of law.

In particular, the January 2026 salary will be calculated until January 31, 2026, although the actual working hours of the departments will end earlier than expected.

Regarding annual leave for employees who are being advanced by the company, they will not be deducted from their salary. The remaining employees will be fully paid by the company.

The company will provide a subsidy of 2 million VND to each employee. The company fully pays severance pay and severance pay for probationary period in cases that are paid according to the provisions of law.

A representative of the Trade Union of Panko Vina Company Limited said that up to now, the enterprise has not owed wages or social insurance to employees. In addition to the above policies, the Trade Union will collect additional opinions from employees to petition the company. Most notably, the 13th month salary is currently a very serious task for workers because this is the income that workers expect the most after a year of hard work. The Trade Union will recommend this content to the company.

Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported that on December 23, Panko Vina Company Limited issued a notice about the termination of the company's production and business activities. The reason is that the production and business situation is facing difficulties. This enterprise said that continuing to do business in the current context is not feasible.
