2 cases of reissuance of certificates of confirmation not subject to issuance of labor licenses
The Government has just issued Decree 219 on foreign workers working in Vietnam, effective from August 7.
In particular, Article 11 of Decree 219/2025/ND-CP stipulates 2 cases of reissuance of certificates of confirmation not subject to issuance of labor licenses as follows:
Article 11. In case of reissuance of a certificate of confirmation not subject to issuance of a labor license
1. The confirmation is not subject to a work permit and is still valid and is lost or damaged and cannot be used.
2. Change one of the following contents: full name, nationality, passport number, work location, change the employer's name without changing the employer's identification number.
Article 12. Application for reissuance of a certificate of confirmation not subject to issuance of a labor license
1. The document requesting reissuance of the confirmation certificate is not subject to the issuance of a labor license by the employer according to Form No. 1 of the Appendix issued with this Decree.
2. Documents proving the change in content as prescribed in Clause 2, Article 11 of this Decree.
3. The confirmation is not subject to a valid labor license, except in cases of loss as prescribed in Clause 1, Article 11 of this Decree.
