On the afternoon of May 19, at the Hanoi Opera House, the 2024 Vietnam Glory program took place with the theme "20 years of launching Vietnam's power".

Speaking at the opening of the program, Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Dinh Khang said that since the first time was held on May 1, 2004, up to now, the Vietnam Glory program has affirmed a big event, with special significance, in order to honor the spirit of self -reliance, national self -respect, love for the country; Honoring the heroic, national emulation soldiers, advanced examples with particularly excellent achievements in the patriotic emulation movement, building and defending the Fatherland.

Over the past 20 years, the program has always received deep attention from the leaders of the Party and the State, the enthusiastic coordination of ministries, central and local ministries and branches, the companionship of the Central Committee for Emulation and Reward in the introduction, nomination and union of heroic factors, national emulation soldiers, advanced examples in the emulation movements of many industries, many levels of social life. "On behalf of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, I would like to thank the guidance of the leaders of the Party, the State, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the periods, the companion, support and effective coordination of committees, ministries, central agencies, localities and coordinated units," Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang said.

The President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor expressed his gratitude to the honored advanced examples, collectives and individuals who have made many contributions to the development of the country, and have been inspiring the national patriotic emulation movement to be vibrant and effective.

According to Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang, the 2024 Vietnam Glory Program chose the theme "20 years of unleashing Vietnam's strength", affirming the 20-year journey of persistent Trade Union organization, continuously discovering, honoring, and replicating typical advanced examples, contributing significantly to nurturing and promoting patriotic emulation movements, encouraging civil servants, public employees, and workers nationwide to be creative, devoting themselves to creating Vietnam's strength, affirming the spirit of Vietnam, so that Vietnam can stand shoulder to shoulder with the world powers.

After nearly 3 years of implementing Resolution No. 02/NQ-TW, dated 12.6.2021 of the Politburo on the renovation of organization and operation of Vietnam Trade Union in the new situation, implementing the Resolution of the XIII Congress of the Party, in many localities, units, excellent labor emulation movements, creative labor has been actively involved by many cadres, civil servants, officials, officials and employees; Many initiatives and new jobs have registered Vietnam on the world map, bringing glory to the country, pride to the whole nation.

Dedicate yourself to the community, spread positive energy

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang said that recognizing the 20 -year milestone, the Vietnam Glory program in 2024 selected 20 excellent collectives and individuals in all areas of social life. These can be units with traditional, thickness, awarded the title of Hero, Independence Medal, Labor Medal, maybe the outstanding collectives and individuals in innovation, creativity, pursuing new development directions for the country and industry. They can also be direct workers, those who "eat home rice, carry prison and total goods", simple but noble examples, have practical and typical local jobs in the locality and businesses. Regardless of the position, you are also devoted to the community, spread positive energy, good images in society, have great inspiration.

As of 2024, a total of 294 collectives and individuals have been honored in the Vinh Quang Vietnam Program, including 110 collectives and 184 individuals. The honored collectives and individuals are continuing to promote their titles and achievements, always making every effort, dedicating their efforts, intelligence, enthusiasm to serve the Fatherland, serving the people, spreading patriotism, national spirit, and aspiration to build a strong and prosperous Vietnam, a happy and prosperous people - Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang acknowledged.
