In any task, she does well with dedication, talent and enthusiasm. In her role as a lecturer at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Automation, she always has a proactive and creative spirit in the process of performing tasks.
In the past 3 years, Ms. Thuy has participated in implementing many topics, initiatives, and improvements, which have been applied in schools such as the initiative on Gender Equality at the workplace. This initiative has made an important contribution to bringing the School to win the First Prize of the UN Women WEPs Awards 2024 (Prize for the Principles of Empowerment for Women).
Especially in the 2024-2025 school year, Ms. Thuy has an initiative on the topic "Good at state affairs, Good at housework" effectively applied within the grassroots level. Ms. Thuy said that it is the reality of years of working in the Trade Union, especially women's work, that has given her a lot of experience to build initiatives. Every year there are holidays for women such as March 8th, October 20th or Vietnamese Family Day June 28th. To make these days truly useful, Ms. Thuy has launched an initiative to launch movements about 2 weeks before the holiday to create a series of activities, helping women feel deep meaning. For example, to celebrate International Women's Day this year, right from February 6th, the Trade Union launched female union members to respond to ao dai costumes. In which, not only responding to Ao Dai Week but also activities such as ao dai photo shows, Q&A contests... The results and awards are expected to take place on March 8th.
Female Trade Union officials are a source of inspiration
In her position as a member of the School Trade Union Executive Committee, Head of the Women's Affairs Committee cum Head of the Electrical and Mechanical Trade Union, Ms. Thuy always promotes the spirit of responsibility, proactiveness and creativity in deploying trade union activities, emulation movements and women's work. She actively mobilizes union members to participate in exchange activities and achieves many high achievements.
She herself is always a source of inspiration and mobilizes members to participate in movements; participate in contributing to humanitarian, charity, and gratitude donations called for by the Trade Union, supporting people affected by storms and floods... Ms. Thuy chaired the successful organization of business study visits for trade union members in the Electrical and Mechanical Trade Union Group. Through grasping the thoughts and aspirations of women, she and the Trade Union organized sessions to guide women on scientific research methods, prepare lectures; organize seminars with support content, communicate knowledge, life skills...
What is commendable about Ms. Thuy is her time arrangement to complete tasks. When asked how to arrange time so that all tasks can be completed well, Ms. Thuy humbly replied: "It takes a lot of family support because alone it is difficult to do so many things". Everyone understands that in that humility is a great effort of a woman - a trade union official dedicated to her work.
