Over 90-year-old inventory house of farmers
Mr. Vu Huu Le has bags of hundreds of types of machinery made for farmers, helping them to have less hardship in production.
On the morning of December 27, stepping onto the exchange stage at the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress, Mr. Vu Huu Le - a machine manufacturing engineer, over 90 years old this year - brought tools for manufacturing and inventing, and has been with him for decades, since he was in the classroom about the bridge and road.
Mr. Vu Huu Le is known as the inventor of farmers.
"I do whatever mechanical equipment the people ask me to do," said Mr. Vu Huu Le. Up to this point, he has had bags of hundreds of types of machinery made for farmers. There are machines that if imported, they cost up to hundreds of millions of VND, but he invented and manufactured them for only a few tens of millions of VND.
His inventions have brought many benefits to farmers, helping farmers to reduce their time as well as their energy and hardship. Mr. Le said that he only took a part of the profit, the rest was mainly to serve farmers. He is loved by farmers not only for his useful inventions but also for his friendliness, sociability and enthusiasm.
Talking about the reason for his endless passion for making machinery for farmers, Mr. Le shared that coming from a poor farming family, he used to plow and was very knowledgeable about farmers. Moreover, since he was a child, he was curious and loved to make machines. After studying in this field, he was equipped with a lot of knowledge and skills in machine making.
I went to farmers, they showed me what I needed to improve, what I needed to do, from there I researched and invented the necessary machines to meet their production needs, Mr. Le shared.
In addition to the encouragement, recognition and love of farmers, Mr. Le has always received the attention and recognition of the leaders of the Party and State. These have become a great motivation, urging him to constantly create and manufacture even when he is over 90 years old.
