Good teacher, dedicated to the role of Trade Union Chairman

At Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School (Hue City), Ms. Bui Thi Hai Quynh (born in 1974) is not only a dedicated French teacher but also an exemplary Trade Union President, devoted to the collective, colleagues and students. For 25 years in the profession, Ms. Quynh has always been mentioned as a typical example in the movement "Good at public affairs, good at home affairs".

As a teacher with in-depth expertise, Ms. Bui Thi Hai Quynh is a member of the French textbook appraisal Council for grades 6, 7, 8, and 9 according to the decision of the Ministry of Education and Training. For many consecutive years, 100% of her students have passed the grade quite well.

Every year, Ms. Quynh has an experience initiative recognized at the grassroots or provincial level. From " applying project-based teaching methods in grade 6 French" to "Some solutions to practice writing skills for grade 6 students", highly appreciated by colleagues in the professional group and the education sector.

In the 2023 - 2024 school year, she was recognized as a provincial emulation fighter, a worthy reward for teachers who are both good at their profession and passionate about educational innovation.

At the age of 50, she still maintains a healthy lifestyle, always spending time with her small family. Her family has been recognized as a "Cultural Family" for many years, a model of happiness, equality, and sharing.

As the Chairwoman of the school's Trade Union, Ms. Quynh always believes that the trade union must be a place where workers find sharing and encouragement. Therefore, the Trade Union of Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School under her leadership always proactively organizes many meaningful activities: Supporting union members in difficulty, organizing cultural and sports movements, women's activities, gender equality seminars, reproductive health care, or fundraising campaigns, supporting poor students.

Thanks to her democratic and scientific working style, she has built a united, close-knit executive committee that knows how to listen and understand the thoughts of teachers. It is the dedication and prestige of the leader that has helped the grassroots trade union receive Certificates of Merit and Certificates of Merit from the Education Trade Union, the Provincial Federation of Labor and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for many consecutive years. Ms. Quynh herself has also been continuously awarded Certificates of Merit and Certificates of Merit for her achievements in emulation movements and trade union activities.
