Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation honors outstanding union officials in the health sector

To celebrate the 70th anniversary of Vietnam Doctors' Day (February 27,55-27, February 25, 2025), on the afternoon of February 26, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation organized a meeting of 300 outstanding health sector union officials.

The program aims to honor and express gratitude to the team of health sector union officials and outstanding doctors of the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union.

At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Hoai Nam - Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health - said that the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, formerly the Saigon - Gia Dinh Regional Civil Medicine Department, was established on July 24, 1975 . During the 50 years of formation and development, the collective of cadres in the city's health sector has always been united, striving and achieving many important achievements in caring for and protecting people's health.

In order to get this result, the city health sector has implemented many creative solutions, constantly improving the quality of medical examination and treatment and improving the satisfaction of the people. Over the past 50 years, the collective of officials and union members of the health sector has always strived to successfully complete the political tasks of the industry, as well as the tasks of the Trade Union organization.

Ms. Hoang Thi Thanh Tam - a nurse at Nhan Ai Hospital, one of 300 outstanding health union officials - expressed her pride in wearing a white blouse.

"Every day facing patients, although it is hard and stressful, I always feel happy to help them. I hope to have more health to continue to contribute to the health sector," said Ms. Tam.

Head of the Nursing Department and Chairman of the Trade Union of Children's Hospital 2 Pham Lam Lac Thu determined that the Nursing Department is the unit that builds professional processes for the hospital's nursing system, so she always promotes communication skills, spirit, attitude in serving patients, professional ethics towards patient satisfaction.

Mr. Vo Khac Thai - Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation - expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the contributions of health sector union officials. The program is also an opportunity for outstanding health union officials to express their thoughts, aspirations, and propose practical and effective solutions, contributing to the country and Ho Chi Minh City entering a new era.
