Difficulties are only temporary, striving will last forever

Mr. Hien is the Head of the Supplies - warehouses Team at PTSC Maritime Mechanical Services Company Limited (PTSC M&C), one of two workers in the Oil and Gas industry who are party members honored by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in 2025.

With 25 years in the mechanical engineering industry, Mr. Hien is not only a good worker but also a dedicated union officer, devoted to the workers. From a young worker, Mr. Hien constantly strives to learn and rise up. Up to now, he has been the Head of the Supplies - warehouse Team, a position that requires precision, high responsibility and good organization skills.

Mr. Cao Duc Hien shared that to achieve this result, a big part of it was that he was trained to improve while striving to be in the ranks of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Since March 26, 2010, Mr. Hien has been honored to be admitted to the Party. After this sacred event, Mr. Hien has made more efforts and improved his responsibility in work as well as in daily life.

Joining the Communist Party of Vietnam is a great source of pride, giving me more motivation to constantly improve myself and contribute more to the collective Mr. Hien said.

As a Party member and Head of the Supply and warehouse Group, Mr. Hien always puts the collective interest first, promotes a sense of responsibility and creativity in work.

One of the biggest difficulties he and his colleagues face is the pressure on the construction progress of large projects, ensuring adequate supply of materials, on schedule, and with the right quality so as not to affect production activities.

According to Mr. Hien, pressure at work is inevitable, but it is thanks to solidarity and support in the group that his team always completes their tasks well.

Not only good at his profession, Mr. Hien is also active in union activities. As a member of the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of the Mechanical Inspection Workshop, he always devoted himself to taking care of the material and spiritual lives of workers, listening to their thoughts and aspirations to reflect to superiors.

One of his outstanding marks in trade union work is the strengthening of propaganda on discipline awareness, labor safety and promoting technical innovation initiatives.

He has encouraged workers to actively propose initiatives to improve production efficiency, save costs, and ensure absolute safety in construction works.

Trade union activities are all organized and implemented on the basis that the Trade Union organization is a solid support for workers, so the trade union officials in the unit always try to make workers have the best working environment, be more connected and have their legitimate and legal rights protected.

Mr. Cao Duc Hien took the motto "Active - Effective - Creative - Responsible" as a guideline in his work.

In which, "Active" is not waiting, always ready to find ways to improve the working process. "Active" is leading the team with a high sense of responsibility, not afraid of difficulties. Creativity is constantly introducing new solutions to optimize work efficiency. Responsibility is to always put the interests of the collective first, work with dedication and seriousness.

Thanks to this spirit, Mr. Hien and the team have made many improvements in materials management - warehousing, contributing to improving productivity and saving costs for the business.
