More than 4,300 technical initiatives from the Creative Labor movement in the health sector

812 individuals are recognized as Good Workers

Mr. Vu Anh Tuan - Vice President of the Vietnam Health Trade Union - said that in recent times, the Good Labor and Creative Labor movement has continued to be maintained and strongly developed, arousing the spirit of innovation and creativity among the health sector's employees. In the period of 2020-2025, the Vietnam Health Trade Union issued 146 decisions to reward and commend 146 collectives and 917 individuals with outstanding achievements. The movement has recognized many outstanding achievements, demonstrating the intelligence, enthusiasm and continuous dedication of the team of employees in the health sector: 812 individuals were recognized as Good Workers; 1,450 scientific research topics were implemented; 4,308 initiatives and technical solutions were applied; 13,843 grassroots emulation fighters were honored; along with 2,162 works and products bringing practical value to society.

In particular, hundreds of collectives and thousands of individuals directly involved in disease prevention and control have been rewarded, many cases have been awarded special rewards to promptly encourage. During the same period, the Vietnam Health Trade Union was awarded 63 Creative Labor Certificates by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, bringing billions of dong in benefits to society.

In 2025, at the Exhibition "Creative Journey - Aspiration to Rise" organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, many units under the Vietnam Health Trade Union actively participated and introduced typical models and initiatives in research and production of vaccines and pharmaceuticals; medical technology and digital transformation in medical examination and treatment. As a result, the Vietnam Health Trade Union was honored to receive a Certificate of Creative Labor from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and 2 Certificates of Creative Labor from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to outstanding individuals.

Linking emulation movements with caring for workers' lives

The units have actively implemented emulation movements launched by the Vietnam Health Trade Union and achieved many practical results. Typical examples in the "Good workers, creative workers" movement include: Hue Central Hospital Trade Union taking the lead in scientific research, applying new techniques to medical examination and treatment, many technical innovation initiatives have been implemented, contributing to improving treatment quality, and have been commended by the Ministry of Health and the Vietnam Health Trade Union.

The comprehensive health management application for patients of Bach Mai Hospital was developed by the Hospital's Information Technology Department. Ms. Doan Thu Tra - Chairman of the Bach Mai Hospital Trade Union - said that the application received many positive responses from patients and their families. Previously, patients shared that they had to bring a "basket" of documents with a medical examination history of up to decades every time they came to the hospital, but now, with just a smartphone, patients can easily access their medical records anytime, anywhere. They no longer have to worry about losing their documents or having their medical records lost when transferred to the hospital.

According to Ms. Doan Thu Tra, digital transformation in the health sector is not only the application of new software or technology, but also a change in the thinking and working style of health care workers, from doctors, nurses to management teams.

Ms. Pham Thanh Binh - President of the Vietnam Health Trade Union - said that entering the period of 2025 - 2030, the Vietnam Health Trade Union determined that the patriotic emulation movement must be comprehensive, taking the real effectiveness as the center, strongly focusing on the grassroots and direct workers. The Vietnam Health Trade Union has identified a number of key orientations, including honoring and replicating typical advanced examples in many diverse forms: Forums, honoring ceremonies, exhibitions, multimedia communication... taking union members and workers directly as the center. The Vietnam Health Trade Union will also link emulation movements with caring for workers' lives, improving the working environment, ensuring safety, welfare and preventing and fighting occupational diseases.
