Applying a robot arm to load and load bricks

Since 2019, Phan Ngoc Anh Construction Materials Company (VLXD) (located in Duy Xuyen, Quang Nam) has boldly invested more than 30 billion VND in an imported automatic robot system for loading and unloading bricks, along with accompanying equipment and machinery such as cranes, railways, automatic loading and unloading, ferries, furnaces... to improve efficiency, work productivity, and reduce product costs.

The automatic robot loading and unloading system has helped the company reduce at least 150 workers working on-site with their hands and feet. This is an effort to improve machinery from Mr. Le Van Tam's proposal as the head of the Construction Investment Investment Production Technical Team - Mr. Phan Ngoc Minh, Deputy Director and Party Cell Secretary of Phan Ngoc Anh Construction Investment Company, proudly mentioned the " collaborator" who has been with the company for 21 years.

Mr. Minh shared that in addition to his effective contributions to applying science and technology to ceramic tile production stages, Mr. Le Van Tam (59 years old, 10 years old in the Party) also directly has many patents. Notably, the "assisted knee bracelet system to support the bicycle" is used to increase the load-bearing capacity of the main support knee and fix the broken rope, saving the company hundreds of millions of VND per year.

Currently, Mr. Le Van Tam has been trusted by the business leaders and employees to be the Deputy Head of the Organization Department, Chairman of the company's Trade Union, Mr. Minh said.

Harmonizing the interests of businesses and workers

According to Mr. Le Van Tam - Chairman of the Trade Union of Phan Ngoc Anh Construction Investment Company, the enterprise currently has nearly 300 employees, working at 3 Tuynel brick production facilities with an area of 15 hectares, with an average salary of 6.5 - 7 million VND/person/month.

With the characteristics of the company having 80% female employees, the Trade Union has had a dialogue with the business leaders to build a collective labor agreement including many practical contents such as: Arranging work in positions suitable for the nature, qualifications, and health of women; organizing periodic health check-ups, gynecological examinations; pregnant women are allowed to have periodic pregnancy check-ups and do lighter work in the last months... All workers are covered by the company with 24/24 Hour Health Insurance.

Our top priority is to fully implement policies for employees. The company always participates in paying social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance to employees in full and on time with a total estimated amount of more than 4 billion VND per year, avoiding outstanding debts.

Social insurance regimes such as: " Pains, maternity, work accidents, occupational diseases, allowances for workers on leave, unemployment are paid by the company in a timely manner, not to disadvantage the rights of employees" - Mr. Tam said.

Mr. Tran Phuoc Phuong - Chairman of Duy Xuyen District Labor Federation - said that the Phan Ngoc Anh Construction Investment Company's Trade Union has been a strong and excellent unit for many consecutive years; has created a harmonious labor relationship between business owners and employees. Thanks to that, the business operates stably, the working environment and the lives of employees are increasingly improved.

For Mr. Le Van Tam personally, a Party member who has been a member for 7 consecutive years completing his tasks excellently (2017-2024), being commended and rewarded at all levels; worthy of being the only representative of Quang Nam to be among the 95 outstanding Workers, a Party member of the Communist Party of Vietnam being commended by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for the first time in 2025 - Mr. Phuong said.
