Mr. Tran Quang Duy - a worker with the spirit of " daring to think, daring to act"

Mr. Tran Quang Duy - Deputy Head of the Debt Collective Team - full-time Pension Safety officer, Revenue Management Team, Thu Duc Power Company, Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation is one of such typical examples of workers.

In 2002, Mr. Tran Quang Duy started working in the electricity industry. With youth, enthusiasm, and a love of the job, he quickly showed that he is a hard-working worker, striving to learn to be good at the job and often has many initiatives and solutions that benefit the unit, thereby creating prestige and trust of the leadership team and all cadres, civil servants, workers, and laborers of the unit.

In 2009, he was honored to be introduced and admitted to the Communist Party of Vietnam. Promoting the exemplary role and dynamism of Party members, he has always cultivated and practiced moral qualities, constantly studied to improve his political theory, expertise, and professional qualifications, and boldly advised leaders on solutions and initiatives that are highly effective for his own work and for the unit. From practical work, he proposed the initiative "Making a handheld device using a battery to generate AC 220V source to serve the work of viewing the stop index after removing the filter and replacing it at the customer's house".

During safe activities, listen to the staff of the Measurement System Management Team complain about the replacement of maintenance/reversion of electronic meters at customers' homes, the meters are usually mounted high up, when removed, the stop index is no longer displayed.

For demanding customers, they will question the accuracy of the Minutes, leading to loss of customer trust.

It was during the contacts and listening to the concerns of his colleagues that he had the idea of manufacturing the above device to let customers review the stop index of the metering system. Thereby, contributing to improving labor productivity, while enhancing the reputation of the city's electricity industry with customers.

In addition to professional work, he also actively participates in the movement of the unit. From the cultural and aesthetic movements organized by the Company and the Corporation to the district's national defense sports festivals, the city cluster has achieved many high achievements.

Mr. Tran Quang Duy is honored to be one of two workers of Vietnam Electricity Group honored by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor at the 1st Conference to honor outstanding workers who are members of the Communist Party of Vietnam in 2025.

The conference will be held in Hanoi and broadcast live on VTV1 and Vietnam Television at 8:00 p.m. on February 16.
