Establishment of Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd. Party Cell

On the afternoon of July 28, the Party Committee of Quang Phu ward, Thanh Hoa province held a ceremony to announce the decision to establish the Party Cell of Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd.

Attending the announcement ceremony were Ms. Do Thi Toan - Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa province; Mr. Luong Trong Thanh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL), Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Confederation of Labor; representatives of the Party Committee of Quang Phu ward, the Board of Directors of the company, and officials and party members.

At the ceremony, representatives of the Quang Phu Ward Party Committee announced the decision to establish the Party Cell of Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd. and the decision to appoint the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of the Party Cell for the term 2025-2030.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Quang - Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union of Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd. - was appointed as Secretary of the Party Cell.

This is the first party cell established in a foreign-invested enterprise in Le Mon Industrial Park, directly under the Party Committee of Quang Phu Ward.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Quang Phu Ward - requested the Party Cell of Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd. to promote the political core role in the enterprise; closely coordinate with the Company's Board of Directors to take care of workers' lives, build harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations.

The Party cell also needs to focus on creating sources, fostering and developing party members in the working class.

Mr. Luong Trong Thanh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation - said that the establishment of the Party Cell of Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd. is an important milestone in the development of party organizations in FDI enterprises, and also demonstrates effective coordination between local Party committees, trade union organizations and enterprises.

The appointment of the grassroots trade union chairman to hold the position of Party Cell Secretary is in line with reality, contributing to strengthening the connection between the Party organization, trade union, enterprise and workers" - Mr. Luong Trong Thanh emphasized.
