Giving gifts to 1,000 workers on the occasion of Workers' Month
An Giang The Provincial Federation of Labor organized visits and presented gifts to 1,000 union members and workers in difficult circumstances on the occasion of Workers' Month 2025.
On April 24, a working delegation of the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor led by Vice Chairman Nguyen Nhat Tien launched a program to visit and present gifts to businesses and union members and workers in difficult circumstances, suffering from occupational diseases, serious illnesses, etc.

This is a practical activity of the Trade Union organization in Uncle Ton's hometown on the occasion of Workers' Month, associated with the Month of Action on Labor Safety and Hygiene in 2025. Accompanying him were representatives of the Department of Home Affairs, the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board, and the Provincial Business Association.

The delegation visited 6 enterprises with grassroots trade unions under the Provincial Federation of Labor, headquartered in Long Xuyen City (Loc Troi Group; An Giang Construction and Installation Joint Stock Company; An Giang Seafood Joint Stock Company), Thoai Son District (An Giang TBS Joint Stock Company) and Binh Hoa Industrial Park, Chau Thanh District (An Giang Samho Company Limited; NV Apparel Company Limited). At each location, on behalf of the leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor, Mr. Tien should visit the production and business situation of enterprises and the working life of union members, workers and laborers.

Mr. Tien especially noted and suggested that the Executive Board of the grassroots Trade Union proactively advise and coordinate with the leaders of the unit and enterprise to develop a plan and organize practical care activities for union members, workers and laborers at the unit and enterprise during Workers' Month.

On this occasion, the Provincial Federation of Labor also presented business representatives with gifts and 215 gifts, each worth VND 1,000,000, to union members, workers, and laborers in especially difficult circumstances, with serious illnesses, work-related accidents, and occupational diseases. The remaining gifts will be given to the grassroots trade unions at the enterprises that organize the giving as soon as possible.
