Hanoi - On May 17, a free health check-up day for female workers in Thach That - Quoc Oai Industrial Park took place.
The health check-up, consultation, communication of reproductive health care knowledge, and free medicine distribution for female workers in the Thach That - Quoc Oai Industrial Park were organized by the Hanoi City Labor Federation, Hanoi Obstetrics Hospital, Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones Trade Union, and Hanoi Health Trade Union.
This is an activity in a series of activities on the occasion of Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health.
600 female workers of 20 enterprises in Thach That - Quoc Oai Industrial Park were examined in obstetrics and gynecology, cancer screening; consultation, prescription, treatment instructions and cases where serious illnesses were detected will be introduced to medical facilities for treatment.
At the same time, they are informed about reproductive health care, premarital health, family planning...; receive free medicine.
Also here, the Hanoi City Labor Federation presented gifts to 20 workers in difficult circumstances.
