Connecting the bonds of miners at the Than Nui Beo Chung cake wrapping contest

Attending the contest were representatives of the Labor Relations Department, Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited, along with company leaders and a large number of officials, workers, and laborers.

Speaking at the opening of the contest, Mr. Nguyen Tien Nhuong - Chairman of the Trade Union of Nui Beo Coal Company - emphasized that the green banh chung wrapping contest is an activity that the unit maintains and organizes annually every Tet and Spring.

Through the contest, the company wishes to contribute to preserving and spreading the beauty of the traditional Tet of the nation, creating a joyful and warm atmosphere.

This is also an opportunity for officials, workers, and laborers to exchange, connect, and strengthen solidarity within the unit, thereby encouraging workers to continue to emulate in labor and production, and successfully complete assigned tasks right from the first days of the new year.

The contest has 115 contestants from 23 participating teams.

According to regulations, each team wraps 25 banh chung in 60 minutes.

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded the First Prize to Doi Song Workshop; the Second Prize to Professional Block and Exploitation Site 3; the Third Prizes and Consolation Prizes to the remaining teams.

After the award ceremony, all finished cakes were used in the company's year-end meal, held on February 9, 2026.
