Workers compete in making banh xeo, gathering after work

The program attracted 350 union members and workers to participate. The teams represent the Trade Union Groups, each team consists of 5 to 10 members. Within 2 hours, the teams completed the entire process from preparing ingredients to completing 10 banh xeo, then sent representatives to present the meaning, process and message of the dish.

Union member Dang Thi Diem My shared that usually filling banh xeo includes bean sprouts, cassava, coconut tubers and meat shrimp, but to create a new flavor, her team has created duck meat and young banana core. "After 2 hours of making cakes, it's a fun time. Each person had a job, helping each other complete 10 cakes. This is an opportunity for brothers and sisters in the company to meet, chat, and exchange after stressful working days," said Ms. My.

Ms. Do Thi Hoa - Chairwoman of the Company's Trade Union, said that the activity was organized to create a healthy playground, connect the collective, help union members and workers relax and relieve pressure after work. At the same time, this is also an opportunity for everyone to demonstrate their ingenuity and solidarity through jointly making banh xeo, a traditional beauty of the nation.
