Workers hope to remove difficulties to access social housing

Workers' opinions say that many workers currently have a need to buy social housing but have difficulty directly approaching social housing construction enterprises to buy at the original price; procedures and documents proving that they are eligible to buy social housing, conditions to enjoy social housing support policies according to regulations, complicated bank loan applications... Social housing prices are still too high compared to current income.

Workers requested the province and relevant sectors to remove difficulties and have policies to exempt and reduce social housing purchase fees for workers. In addition, there is a social housing rental policy to meet the needs of young workers in rural areas or other provinces who will later return to their hometowns to build houses without long-term attachment in Bac Giang.

Responding to the question about this content, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung - Director of the Department of Construction said that in recent times, the Provincial People's Committee has implemented many activities to help workers, laborers and beneficiaries of social housing policies in the area understand the regulations, easily access and carry out procedures for buying and renting social housing.

In the coming time, the provincial People's Committee will continue to direct the relevant agencies and units and localities to further strengthen the propaganda, dissemination, guidance and disclosure of social housing information, conditions, the order of buying and leasing social houses, more deeply and wider loan conditions for workers and workers to easily access and implement; At the same time, strengthening the inspection and examination of the implementation of social housing policies to promptly rectify and strictly handle violations.

Regarding the policy of leasing social housing to meet the needs of young families in rural areas or non -subsequent provinces, they will return to their hometowns to build houses without long -term need in Bac Giang, representatives of the Department of Construction said, to meet the accommodation for workers in the industrial park, for the planning of new industrial parks, the provincial People's Committee now requests to arrange 10% of the service land, which must be used at least 20% of the service land area Staying for workers in industrial parks. In the coming time, the province will increase the investment attraction of these accommodation projects, in order to arrange the rental fund for renting houses for those who only need to rent.

Workers also reported that in the area, industrial park clusters and areas, there are not enough kindergartens or child care facilities; recommended that the province plan a separate area and near the industrial park to facilitate the union to organize collective activities; traffic safety issues, service prices, goods in the industrial park...

In addition, workers reported that there is still a situation where some enterprises have not complied well, still violating legal regulations on labor, social insurance debts... Representatives of departments, branches, and provincial leaders have answered these questions.

At the conference, on the occasion of Workers' Month, Month of Action on occupational safety and hygiene and practical care for union members and workers in difficult circumstances, those who have suffered from occupational accidents and diseases, the leaders of Bac Giang province presented 100 gifts to workers.
