Dong Thap Civil Servants' Union hands over houses to poor households
Dong Thap - Civil Servants' Trade Union hands over houses to poor households in response to the movement of joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.
On May 15, the Dong Thap Provincial Civil Servants' Union coordinated with the Tan Hong District Labor Federation to organize the handover of the "Great Solidarity" house to Mr. Tran Quang Khanh's household (born in 1980, address Go Da Hamlet, Binh Phu Border Commune, Tan Hong District). The event was attended by Ms. Huynh Thi Thu Thuy, Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor.
Mr. Tran Quang Khanh's family has 5 members and is a poor household. exemplary family, fully participating in volunteer movements launched by the locality and having difficulty in labor and production.

The house was built with an area of nearly 60m2 with a wall structure, corrugated iron roof, and reinforced concrete floor, with a total construction cost of 80 million VND. Of which, the grassroots Trade Union of the Management Board of Investment and Construction of Agricultural Works and Rural Development of Dong Thap province under the Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union supported 50 million VND, the local budget supported 10 million VND, the rest was contributed by the family.
This is the first house to be handed over among 20 "Grand Solidarity" houses mobilized by the Civil Servants' Union, contributing with all levels and sectors to promptly complete the task of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the spirit of the plan to launch the emulation movement of the Provincial People's Committee on "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Dong Thap province in 2025".
Thereby, practically working with the Party Committee and government of Tan Hong district to effectively implement the socio-economic development of the border area of Dong Thap province, period 2021 - 2025.
The support and handover of the "Great Unity" house also responds to the "Workers' Month - Labor Safety and Hygiene Month" launched by the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation.
