Soc Trang Provincial People's Committee Trade Union returns sources and gives gifts on the occasion of Workers' Month
Soc Trang - Soc Trang Trade Union returns to the source, giving gifts to union members in difficult circumstances at Cu Lao Dung on the occasion of Workers' Month and Uncle Ho's birthday anniversary.
On May 16, the People's Committee of Soc Trang province's Trade Union organized a resource activity and presented gifts to union members and children of union members in difficult circumstances in Cu Lao Dung district. This is a practical activity in response to Workers' Month and Labor Safety and Hygiene Month in 2025, and at the same time celebrates the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday.
The program has the participation of the Executive Committee, the Trade Union Inspection Committee of the Provincial People's Committee, representatives of the affiliated grassroots colleges, representatives of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee, the District Office of the District Party Committee and the Labor Union (Labor Federation) of Cu Lao Dung district.
Within the framework of the activities, the delegation came to offer incense and commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at Uncle Ho Temple, An Thanh Dong Commune; organize a thematic activity to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. The delegation also combined learning from typical community models, thereby enhancing cohesion and understanding the local situation.
On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee Trade Union presented 20 gifts to union members of the Motorbike taxi Union and local people in difficult circumstances in An Thanh Dong commune; presented 1,000 notebooks to children of union members and workers, contributing to supporting them in their studies.
