Lam Dong - 2,200 workers of Tuy Phong Garment Factory enthusiastically joined in the fun folk games to celebrate Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20) organized by the union.

On October 19, the Tuy Phong Garment Factory Trade Union (Lien Huong Commune, Lam Dong Province) organized a program to celebrate Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20).

The event took place right at the factory, with the enthusiastic participation of the Board of Directors and all 2,200 union members and workers.

Chairman of Tuy Phong Garment Factory Trade Union, Mr. Nguyen Hoa, said that the program aims to create a healthy playground, helping union members and workers practice physical exercise, play, and entertain after stressful working hours, while strengthening collective cohesion and building a cultural and spiritual life in the factory.

According to Mr. Hoa, the female workforce accounts for the majority, so the Executive Committee of the union has chosen folk games so that everyone can participate. The cost of organizing and awarding the prize is about 40 million VND, mobilized by the union.

Mr. Le Ba Vinh - a worker at garment factory 6 - shared that union members and workers are very excited to participate in games such as: slow cycling, jumping around, eating yogurt with closed eyes, bringing water to the village.

"We are very happy that the union has organized fun and useful folk games, helping people become more attached and comfortable after work," said Mr. Vinh.

Ms. Pham Thi Ngoc Danh - a 30-year-old sewing worker - also expressed her joy at being able to interact and do collective activities on the occasion of October 20.

The program is very meaningful. We are excited to work here because the union always cares about and cares for the lives of union members and workers to improve day by day, Ms. Danh shared.
