Lam Dong Labor Union creates a sports playground, connecting workers after work hours
Lam Dong - Trade unions at all levels have organized many sports festivals and football tournaments, creating a playground for solidarity and improving the spiritual life of workers.
More than 3 months after reorganizing the apparatus and operating local governments at 2 levels, the trade unions of communes, wards and special zones under the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation have had many activities towards the grassroots and practical care for union members and workers.
Notable are sports activities, creating a playground to connect workers after work hours organized by grassroots unions. Many ward-level trade unions have proactively guided and suggested movements for grassroots trade unions to implement in accordance with the characteristics of each unit.

In Mui Ne ward, the ward union has guided and encouraged grassroots unions in the tourism sector to organize the "Team Spirit Sport Day" Sports Festival, attracting nearly 200 athletes from 7 resort unions to participate.
The competition events include mini football, beach volleyball, relay swimming and badminton. The sports festival took place right at the resorts, lasting nearly 10 days so as not to affect tourism service activities.
At the end of the tournament, the organizing committee awarded prizes to outstanding collectives and awarded prizes for the whole group's style.

Mr. Tran Ngoc Phuc - Chairman of Mui Ne Ward Trade Union assessed that the sports festival has promoted the sports movement at resort trade unions in the ward. This is also a highlight to connect grassroots unions and support each other in business. In addition, it also creates a sports playground to help union members recreate their labor force and serve the tourism industry better.
At Phan Thiet Industrial Park, the Trade Union of Hai Trieu Company Limited organized the Hai Trieu Men's and Women's Traditional Football Tournament - the 4th time for the company's workers.

The tournament gathered 294 athletes, divided into 14 men's football teams and 12 women's football teams competing in a total of 46 matches. Due to the nature of ensuring production and business for businesses, matches are held every Sunday. The total prize value for the football tournament is 82.5 million VND.
Ms. Le Huynh Thi Hoa Phuong - Chairwoman of Binh Thuan Ward Trade Union - said that the football tournament has created a healthy playground and a joyful atmosphere for workers and laborers after stressful working hours. Thereby, contributing to collective solidarity, encouraging workers to improve their health, building cultural life in the enterprise.

In recent times, not only stopping at protecting the rights of workers, grassroots unions and commune-level unions in Lam Dong province have proactively created a sports playground for union members and workers to exchange and improve their health.
From Mui Ne tourist areas to Phan Thiet Industrial Park, the union promotes its role as a companion, improving the material and spiritual life of union members, contributing to building a dynamic working environment.
