Towards the grassroots

The 2025 Workers' Month organized by the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union has the theme "Vietnamese workers are pioneers entering a new era - Oil and Gas workers are unanimously innovating and steadfastly reaching far" and the theme of the 2025 Workers' Safety and Hygiene Month "Enhancing risk assessment, identification and proactively implementing measures to ensure occupational safety and hygiene at the workplace".

The activities of Workers' Month and the Workers' Month on occupational safety and health in 2025 will be widely implemented by Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union at all levels, practically and effectively, with high action, focusing on the grassroots, directly resolving the issues of concern and concern to workers and employees in accordance with the practical situation of the industry; at the same time, attracting a large number of union members and employees to participate.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union will honor 50 exemplary workers and 14 individuals who have excelled in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology in the period of 2020-2025. In particular, the organization visited and supported nearly 3,000 workers in difficult circumstances with a total budget of over 3 billion VND. occupational safety and health inspection and supervision work is carried out at 5 units, ensuring strict compliance with safety work.

In addition, the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union also has activities such as organizing 64 best delegates in the 2020-2025 period to meet with the National Assembly Chairman and visit the National Assembly Building. At affiliated trade unions, 100% of units have implemented plans and organized many activities to care for the material and spiritual lives of workers such as legal advice, checking occupational safety and health, visiting and giving gifts to workers in difficult circumstances. These activities not only improve the lives of employees but also ensure labor safety and promote the sustainable development of the Vietnam Oil and Gas industry.

Each grassroots trade union has at least one interest in union members

On April 9, the Prime Minister officially decided to change the name of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group to the Vietnam National Industry - Energy Group.

Speaking to reporters, Ms. Nghiem Thuy Lan - President of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union - said that in order to concretize the motto "Innovation from the core - Developing outstanding models - Global chain integration - Enhancing energy knowledge - Breakthrough in growth - Creating sustainable green transformation" along with the spirit of "A team, a goal" will accompany the country to enter a new era - the era of national growth, achieving the double-digit growth target of the Vietnam National Industry - Energy Group, the Workers' Month activities of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union at all levels will be concretized, in line with the reality that the unit at each grassroots level of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union has at least one benefit for union members, all for workers, towards workers.

In particular, organize the program "Creative workers, firmly entering the new era" and promote the creative labor emulation movement, organize competitions to propose ideas and initiatives to innovate production processes and save resources. Launch an emulation movement in 2025 with the theme: "Oil and Gas Creativity - Strengthening Development".

Organize the Peak Month for developing union members, introducing and developing workers' party members. Review and introduce outstanding union members for the Party Committee to train and consider admitting to the Communist Party of Vietnam.
