According to the indictment, P.H.N is a worker at T.L Garment Company Limited (abbreviated company name). Discovering that the company's shed does not have a surveillance camera, many scooters have smart electronic locks, and when turned off the engine, they still have SEAT status (trunk opening mode), just press the button next to open the trunk, so N came up with the idea of appropriating property in the trunk.

At around 6:30 p.m. on June 8, 2025, July 4, 2025 and July 7, 2025, N opened the trunk of 3 female workers but had no money, only papers. N has taken a citizen identification card and an ATM card from Vietcombank. Go to the ATM to enter a password test for the date, month and two year-end birth numbers of the three female workers above to log in. After that, N waited until the company paid the salary, on June 12, 2025 and July 10, 2025, N went to the ATM to withdraw all the money in their account, the total amount of money appropriated was 40,200,000 VND.

In addition to the above case, the Court also tried a similar theft case. Ms. Le Thi A and D.X.N are both workers of T.L Garment Company Limited in Lai Vu Industrial Park. Due to her lack of understanding technology, Ms. A occasionally asked N to operate on her mobile phone, so N knew Ms. A's phone password. At around 3:00 p.m. on April 12, 2025, N took advantage of a loophole to secretly take Ms. A's phone, opened the note on the phone and saw Ms. A saving the Vietcombank bank account password. N used this password to log into the banking application on Ms. A's phone and appropriated 10,000,000 VND from Ms. A's account.

Through the above cases, the authorities have found that many people have the habit of setting bank account passwords as birth dates or remembering passwords stored in the notes of mobile phones. This is a dangerous habit, easily Guessed by scammers and having money in their accounts stolen. Therefore, the People's Procuracy recommends that people raise their vigilance in protecting their property.
