With initiatives that benefit businesses, in 2022, engineer Tran Viet Hung was awarded the title of Smart King by the leaders of Samsung Electronics Vietnam Thai Nguyen Co., Ltd.).
In 17 initiatives that have brought in more than 501 billion VND for the enterprise, engineer Tran Viet Hung is very committed to the initiative "Improving automation of production lines applying 4.0 technology" - this initiative benefits the company with 33.3 billion VND/year ( deducted from equipment investment costs).
Before the initiative of engineer Tran Viet Hung was put into application, the company used a lot of human resources, many errors occurred, poor product quality due to failure to detect errors, low productivity...
After analyzing the causes and finding solutions, I put into operation new automatic equipment to reduce dependence on humans such as automatic multi-nharing robots that automatically remove and release products into the function controller - effectively increasing the speed with the earliest time; automatic scanning machines, automatic sound testing machines, automatic camera function control - have reduced human resources, increased the accuracy in checking the phone's function, improved product quality; output from 2,177 products increased to 2,770 products - engineer Tran Viet Hung shared. The initiative of engineer Tran Viet Hung has completed the application of 60 production lines of the company in the fourth quarter of 2022.
Next, engineer Tran Viet Hung had the initiative "Improving the integration of SPEN automatic inspection in image testing machines". During the work, engineer Tran Viet Hung observed that in the production line, employees perform many manual operations, there is a risk of errors, color errors, affecting product quality...
Faced with the above situation, engineer Tran Viet Hung conducted a risk assessment and proposed a solution to automatically apply the color test of the SPEN pen using a color analysis system, integrating an automatic SPEN closed-end control structure.
The initiative of engineer Tran Viet Hung is applied to strategic phone models with SPEN integration such as Note 20, Galaxy S22 Ultra, S23 Ultra; has been included in 20 production lines in the first quarter of 2023; especially can be applied in other Samsung factories around the world... The initiative of engineer Tran Viet Hung has benefited the company with 27.9 billion VND/year ( deducted from the cost of purchasing improved goods)...
In addition, engineer Tran Viet Hung has had initiatives that benefit the company from 30 billion VND/year to 84.2 billion VND/year...
Continuously learning to improve qualifications
Sharing about the motivation to promote many impressive initiatives, bringing "huge" value to the business, engineer Tran Viet Hung said: "I rely on the knowledge I have and observe on the production site, the difficulties of the staff from which come up with ideas to improve, improve output, quality and reduce operations for the staff".

Engineer Tran Viet Hung is one of four outstanding union members of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Federation of Labor to receive the 4th "Nguyen Duc Canh Award" from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in 2023 - an award to honor workers directly involved in production at units and enterprises in economic sectors, with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Good workers, creative workers" launched by the Trade Union organization.
