1,050 targets for sending workers to work abroad
Hanoi City is implementing programs to send workers to work abroad under contracts.
Implementing the direction of the Hanoi Department of Home Affairs, on September 3, the Hanoi Employment Service Center announced the program to send workers to work abroad under contract and important recommendations on protecting personal information before leaving the country.
Regarding the selection of 150 nursing and care staff candidates to work in Japan (EPA Program Course 15): The program has 150 targets; workers are exempt from all costs of food, accommodation, Japanese language learning for 12 months in Vietnam and are subsidized for living expenses; are covered by round-trip air tickets (1 trip). Salary level in Japan, for nursing candidate positions: 190,000 - 210,000 Yen/month (total average income of about 248,000 Yen/month); for care staff positions: 210,000 - 230,000 Yen/month (total average income of about 305,000 Yen/month).
Registration conditions: Graduated from college/university majoring in nursing or general nursing; age not exceeding 35 (born from January 1, 1991 onwards). Nursing candidates need to have an additional practicing certificate and at least 2 years of work experience.
Application from July 30, 2026 – October 20, 2026, in direct and online forms.
With the Korean language exam and skills test for agriculture and fisheries according to the EPS Program in 2026, there are 900 quotas (fisheries: 500; agriculture: 400).
General conditions: Age from 18 – 39; no criminal record, not prohibited from leaving the country; meeting separate additional conditions on permanent residence or work experience by sector.
Expected skill test (round 2) from October 27 - October 29, 2026.
The cost of taking the Korean language exam is collected in VND, equivalent to 28 USD/person.
The Hanoi Employment Service Center also issued an important warning for workers to protect personal information. Accordingly, workers must absolutely not provide personal information (especially citizen identification card information, passport) to individuals or organizations that do not have the authority to register for Korean SIM/mobile phone services before leaving the country to avoid bad actors taking advantage of leaked personal information to open illegal telecommunications accounts for fraud purposes.
