Patriotic emulation actively contributes to the development of Ho Chi Minh City's electricity industry
HCMC - The patriotic emulation movement at Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation (EVNHCMC) has effectively contributed to the development of the electricity industry and the city's socio-economy.
The conference on advanced models for the period 2020 - 2025 was organized by Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation (EVNHCMC) on the afternoon of May 29.
The report at the conference said that EVNHCMC's patriotic emulation movement in the period of 2020 - 2025, has truly become an endogenous driving force to promote responsibility, arouse initiatives, improve techniques, apply technology, transform digital, improve corporate governance and improve customer service quality, making a practical and effective contribution to the development of the unit.
As a result, EVNHCMC has always ensured a stable, continuous, safe power supply, fully meeting the demand for electricity, contributing positively to the recovery and development of Ho Chi Minh City's economy in the post-COVID-19 pandemic period.
The total commercial electricity output in the 2020 - 2024 period is 135.9 billion kWh, with an average growth of 3.89%/year. The power loss rate decreased from 3.41% in 2020 to 2.98% in 2024, down an average of 0.11%/year. The output of energy-saving electricity in the 2020 - 2024 period will reach 2.9 billion kWh, accounting for 2.18% of commercial electricity in the 2020 - 2024 period.
With the tireless competitive efforts of the collective of employees in the process of conducting comprehensive digital transformation and developing a smart grid, EVNHCMC has been honored to receive many international awards for smart grid development at EVNHCMC.
Through emulation movements, many employees of EVNHCMC have been honored at the national, ministerial and sectoral levels, such as: one individual was awarded the title of Hero of Labor in the renovation period, 2 individuals won the Nguyen Duc Canh Award of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, 5 individuals won the Ton Duc Thang Award, 3 individuals were honored at the Patriotic Emulation Congress of Vietnam Electricity Group...
