Can Tho City Labor Federation promotes emulation "Good labor, creative labor" in the new year

On February 23, the Can Tho City Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) organized a conference of officials, civil servants, and employees and a spring gathering of Binh Ngo 2026. Attending were Ms. Le Thi Suong Mai - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, City Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City, Chairman of the Can Tho City LĐLĐ.

According to the report, in 2025, the City Labor Federation promoted the spirit of solidarity and creativity in performing tasks, achieving and exceeding 13/15 targets assigned by the General Confederation and set by the unit. At the same time, building and effectively implementing operating plans, work programs, and unexpected activities according to directions; Creating conditions for cadres and civil servants to study and improve their professional qualifications.

Cadres, civil servants, and employees at the unit always well comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws; raise awareness of training and moral cultivation associated with the campaign "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style". Many initiatives and solutions have been implemented to respond to the emulation movement launched by the Trade Union.

As a result, in the year, 42 individuals achieved the title of Advanced Laborer, 10 individuals completed excellently; 18 individuals achieved the title of Grassroots Emulation Soldier. In addition, 41 individuals were awarded certificates of merit from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City and proposed 2 certificates of merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

Stepping into 2026, the grassroots Trade Union of Can Tho City Labor Federation proposed a plan to launch a patriotic emulation movement, making achievements to celebrate important holidays and events of the Party and the country. With the theme "Determined to innovate, actively create, improve labor productivity, work efficiency, thrift, fight against wastefulness, celebrate the 16th National Assembly Election and the People's Council Election at all levels for the term 2026 – 2031", the emulation movements will be divided into 2 phases.

Phase 1 from January - June 30, 2026 and phase 2 from July - December 31, 2026. The content focuses on concretizing the city's emulation theme for 2026 and linking it to the emulation movement "Good labor, creative labor"; Continue to deploy and effectively implement emulation movements launched by the Prime Minister, the City Party Committee, and the City People's Committee; Emulate to improve qualifications, train bravery, innovate working methods, be flexible and creative in solving assigned tasks with the goal "All for union members and workers".
