Dong Nai honors grassroots trade unions for taking good care of the lives of union members and workers

On October 15, the 1st Patriotic Emulation Congress of Dong Nai province, for the 2025-2030 period, took place with the participation of nearly 500 delegates.

At the congress, 278 advanced models were awarded certificates of merit by the Provincial People's Committee. Of which, 50 outstanding and typical advanced collectives and individuals were honored at the congress.

In particular, honoring the collective of the Trade Union of Chang Shin Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Tan Trieu Ward, Dong Nai Province) established in 1996 to date, which has performed well the function of representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers, building a harmonious, stable and progressive relationship at the enterprise, with more than 40,000 employees, of which female workers account for 80% and 99.99% of employees are union members.

The Trade Union of Chang Shin Vietnam Co., Ltd. has many practical and effective activities to care for the lives of union members and workers through many movements such as: The Charity Hands Program has mobilized nearly VND12 billion to support 235 workers with serious illnesses, each person receiving VND50 million or more... and other programs such as the Chang Shin Family Support Association, Trade Union Shelter...

The Congress also honored many union members and workers with outstanding achievements in innovation and creativity in production labor such as: Mr. Doan Van Ut Chinh - Union member, worker of Pou Sung Vietnam Co., Ltd.; Mr. Dang Van Hung - Union member, worker of Pou Chen Vietnam Co., Ltd.; Mr. Pham Huy Hieu - Union member, worker of TKG Taekwang Vina Co., Ltd.; Mr. Do Trong Nguyen - Union member, manager of the Internet Service of Changshin Vietnam Co., Ltd.; Mr. Nguyen Minh Tinh - Union member, worker of the grassroots union, worker of CiBao Co., Ltd.

Speaking at the Congress, Ms. Ton Ngoc Hanh - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council said that the outstanding results that the province has achieved in recent times have had great contributions from patriotic emulation movements with many good, creative and typical models, bringing practical results.

These include: Emulation movement for Good workers, creative workers among workers, civil servants, and laborers; Movement for Good teaching, Good learning in the education sector; Emulation movement for Victory and For National Security in the provincial armed forces; Day for the Poor - No one is left behind...

Thereby, it has contributed to covering positive information in the whole society, spreading good values, belief in a happy, modern, and civilized life.

At the same time, many typical examples of collectives and individuals in labor and production have appeared; many useful topics, initiatives and solutions for the benefit of the State and society; many models and solutions have been replicated, spreading widely across the province and the whole country...

Within the framework of the 1st Patriotic Emulation Congress of Dong Nai province, period 2025-2030, the congress launched a response to support people in the Northern and North Central provinces to overcome the consequences of storms No. 10 (Bualoi) and No. 11 ( Matmo).

The 1st Patriotic Emulation Congress of Dong Nai province also launched an emulation movement for the 2025-2030 period with the theme "Solidarity, creativity, emulation to build Dong Nai province to develop green, civilized, modern, and enter a new era with the whole country".
