Bac Ninh Provincial Trade Union launches emulation movement for digital transformation

Implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, which Bac Ninh province identified as a key task to improve labor productivity, through increasing the application of information technology, digital data and digital platforms in union member management, union activities, caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers.

The Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor sets a target of striving for 100% of union officials to be trained and trained in basic knowledge of information technology, digital transformation, and digital skills by 2026; over 80% of union chairmen and union officials master digital skills, applying digital technology in management and operation.

In addition, over 95% of grassroots trade unions collect union funds through the general account of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; strive to build at least 1 model or club for each industrial park and cluster "Digital learning trade union", "Digital learning worker corner", "Digital learning union members bright spot".

The Provincial Federation of Labor strives for over 95% of documents and work records of trade unions at all levels to be processed in the electronic environment; at least 70% of union members have access to and use digital union services.

With that spirit, the Bac Ninh Provincial Trade Union officially launched a digital transformation emulation movement to strongly spread in the trade union system from October 2025 to October 2026. The emulation movement focuses on 6 key contents.

Strengthen propaganda and dissemination of digital transformation knowledge and digital skills to union officials, union members, and workers; promote communication through digital platforms.

Applying information technology, digital transformation in management, operation, archiving and reporting; building a database of union members, moving towards the model of "no documents union office", contributing to modernizing union activities.

Innovating the method of trade union activities on a digital platform; effectively deploying trade union management and operation software, towards a digital working environment.

Strengthen information security, data security, timely detection and handling of risks in the provincial trade union system.

Promoting the launch of the "Digital learning environment" movement to help union members and workers be equipped with digital knowledge and skills; no one is left behind in the digital transformation process.

Strengthen coordination with agencies, units, and enterprises to deploy digital transformation solutions; encourage new initiatives, models, and good practices in technology application.

The Provincial Federation of Labor will commend and reward collectives and individuals who are typical examples of progress in implementing the movement for having good initiatives, solutions, and methods in implementing Digital Transformation and making many positive contributions to propaganda and caring for union members through digital platforms, while having a positive influence and influence in the trade union system.
