Mr. Dang Thanh Thao, Head of the Electrical Mechanical Team of Asia Architecture and Trade Company Limited, is one of 29 outstanding faces awarded the Certificate of Merit by the Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City for "Good worker, creative worker".

For 2 consecutive years, Mr. Thao has researched and proposed two major initiatives: the sale paper length measurement system and the upgrade of Vecni coatings. These two initiatives not only bring great efficiency in saving raw materials and increasing productivity but also help improve labor safety and improve product quality for businesses.

Remember at the "Good workers, creative workers" ceremony in 2025 organized by the Da Nang City Labor Federation in the middle of the year, Mr. Thao gave a very impressive speech:

When the Trade Union launched the Good Labor - Creative Labor movement, the workers responded very positively. Everyone tries to do their job better, while boldly proposing initiatives to improve operations, shorten production time, reduce raw material waste, and momentarily bring common success to businesses and localities. The initiatives that are recognized and rewarded in a timely manner make us feel that our efforts are appreciated.

Mr. Thao's speech reflects an important change in the understanding of emulation in Da Nang in recent times, especially the emulation movement to celebrate the 14th National Party Congress. No longer are they movements, competitions going straight to each job position, each production stage.

There, each worker has a "backbone" to strive for: to follow more correct procedures, reduce errors, increase safety, save materials, and improve equipment performance. Emulation therefore becomes a positive loop, where each individual effort contributes to the success of the collective.

To prevent the emulation movement from being formal

According to Mr. Le Van Dai, Permanent Vice President of the Da Nang City Labor Federation, the key to preventing the emulation movement, especially the emulation movement to welcome the 14th National Party Congress of the Da Nang Trade Union from falling into the main form is the organization and support of the Trade Union.

"Emulation must closely follow the production and business practices of each enterprise and each unit. When the Trade Union plays a good role in keeping the rhythm, helping the movement to be associated with productivity, quality and legitimate rights of workers, emulation will naturally spread and create sustainable motivation Mr. Le Van Dai emphasized.

In Da Nang, the Trade Union not only launched a movement but also organized it to make the movement stand firm: selecting emulation content suitable for each field; guiding grassroots trade unions to develop specific criteria; creating a mechanism for receiving, evaluating and rewarding initiatives in a timely manner. This methodical approach helps workers feel secure that their efforts are recognized as fair and transparent.

Emulation has also contributed to building harmonious labor relations. When employees proactively improve, businesses recognize and share benefits, trust is strengthened, and dialogue becomes more substantial. Thereby, a stable working environment, labor discipline is enhanced, safety risks are reduced - key factors for sustainable business development.

In 2025, from the "Good workers, creative workers" movement, the emulation movement to welcome the 14th National Party Congress, many collectives and individuals in Da Nang have been commended and honored at all levels.

But the greater value is not just the number of titles. The important thing is that a new standard is being formed: emulation associated with efficiency; creativity associated with the value of profit; rewards associated with specific results.

Emulation begins with each person doing their job better every day. When that spirit spreads, success will be the inevitable result of a real and persistent emulation movement.
