Since the beginning of the year, the Dong Nai Provincial Employment Service Center has provided job counseling and referrals to more than 9,000 cases when workers apply for unemployment benefits.
Many unemployed workers are aged 25-40
The Dong Nai Provincial Employment Service Center said that in March 2025, nearly 5,000 people submitted applications for unemployment benefits, the cumulative increase from the beginning of 2025 to now is more than 9,000 people. It is worth mentioning that the number of people who have decided to receive unemployment benefits is mainly between the ages of 25 and 40.
In March 2025, out of 4,362 workers who decided to receive unemployment benefits, 2,572 workers were aged 25-40 (1,34 male workers and 1,438 female workers). Accumulated from the beginning of 2025 to present, out of 8,241 workers with unemployment benefits decisions, there are 4,476 workers aged 25-40 (1,585 male workers and 2,491 female workers).
According to the assessment of the authorities, workers aged 24-40 receiving unemployment benefits account for a high proportion because this is a group of workers with working experience, health and dynamism. Therefore, the trend of job conversion in this group is higher than in other groups, leading to an higher unemployment benefit rate for this age group than other age groups. Consulting and introducing jobs for more than 9,000 workers
In order to promote job creation for unemployed workers in the province, the Dong Nai Provincial Employment Service Center has strengthened activities to connect labor supply and demand in many forms to increase job access opportunities for workers. In addition, the center supports workers in vocational training to find jobs that suit their skills and return to the labor market soon.
In March 2025, the center has provided job counseling and referral to more than 5,000 people, and since the beginning of the year, the center has provided job counseling and referral to more than 9,000 people. The amount of unemployment benefits to support vocational training according to the decision is more than 156 billion VND (March 2025), accumulated at the beginning of the year to date is 338 billion VND.
The Dong Nai Provincial Employment Service Center also reviewed and collected job needs for workers receiving unemployment benefits to connect businesses that need to recruit a large number of unskilled workers in the area (from 50 unskilled workers or more) mainly in the fields of textiles, footwear, electronics such as Fashion Garments 2 Company Limited, Saitex International Dong Nai Company Limited, Elite Long Thanh Company Limited...

Strengthen job consultation and introduction for unemployment beneficiaries at the Center and 5 representative offices of Bien Hoa and Long Khanh districts and cities, creating all conditions for unemployment beneficiaries to soon return to the labor market.
According to information from the Dong Nai Provincial Employment Service Center, synthesizing the implementation of unemployment insurance, accumulated for 4 years from 2020 - 2023, 241,475 workers have submitted applications for unemployment insurance. In 2020, it was 65,943 people, in 2021, it was 44,439 people, in 2022 it was 64,278 people, in 2023 it was 66,815 people.
